OAA welcomes Oregon Service Learning Delegation

In 2010, the OAA supports the Transatlantic Service Learning Project ‘Young Migrants and Transition to Working Life’ between the Western Oregon University Monmouth, Oregon and the University of Education Ludwigsburg, Germany together with the Freudenberg Association, Germany. The OAA donated an amount of money to enable the Oregon delegation of students and instructors to stay in Munsingen, Germany in July, 2010.

At the end of their visit, the delegation visited Tübingen and the OAA for a joint sight-seeing day at the geographical center of Baden-Württemberg. A boat trip on the river Neckar with a famous Stocherkahn was made. After the boat ride, a city walking tour and a stop at a Swabian restaurant was on the agenda of the group.
